World-class training and education

Originally from Boston, Massachusetts, Dr. Miller completed his undergraduate degree at Wesleyan University and earned his medical degree at the University of Massachusetts.

After his education in New England, Dr. Miller relocated to New York City to undergo training at the New York University School of Medicine.

The first two years were spent in general surgery training, followed by four years of head and neck surgery training. Dr. Miller then pursued a facial plastic surgery fellowship on the west coast before returning to New York, where he served as NYU faculty for 7 years before opening his own midtown practice in 2004. Dr. Miller is double board certified in Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery and Otolaryngology/Head & Neck Surgery.

An innovator and an expert in rhinoplasty and facial rejuvenation

With a practice dedicated exclusively to facial cosmetic and reconstructive surgery, Dr. Miller is a face expert. He further sets himself apart by specializing in rhinoplasty and facial rejuvenation. Often called the physician's physician, almost half of Dr. Miller's patients are fellow doctors, work in the medical field themselves, or were referred by colleagues.

Dr. Miller has invented surgical techniques, technical instruments, and tech platforms like Aesthetic.Bot, because he is always focused on improving the plastic surgery experience and results for patients and doctors alike. He holds various patents and trademarks for his innovations.

A passion for patient education

Dr. Miller is well known for consistently excellent results and for being passionate about patient education. He regularly uses social media to demystify plastic surgery and show patients what they can expect when they undergo a procedure with him. Dr. Miller's commitment to education extends to his long-term relationship with the NYU School of Medicine, where he serves as the director of the Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship and is a Full Clinical Professor.

Caring and engaged in the community

Dr. Miller enjoys living life to the fullest. He is an avid cyclist and pilot, and enjoys carpentry as a way to unwind. He cares deeply about the people around him, and has offered free reconstructive surgery to survivors of domestic violence in the past.
